🌺 Founder’s Story
I began my journey in the IT world — after years as an NCC cadet, a sports enthusiast, and a young woman who once dreamed of joining the Defence forces.
Life had different plans. While I couldn’t serve the nation in uniform, I was given another honour — becoming the wife of an Army officer.
Between his border postings and my corporate career, we rarely experienced what felt like a complete family life. So I made a choice — not out of sacrifice, but out of strength. I stepped away from my career to build a strong home, raise my children with strong values, and give my husband the peace to serve India with his full focus.
Years later, when I tried to return to the corporate world, reality hit hard — career breaks often close doors for women, no matter their capability.
But I refused to accept that as the end of my story.
Instead, I chose to rebuild — on my own terms.
My love for sarees, fabrics, and timeless fashion became my new beginning. What started as a small Instagram page slowly grew into something meaningful — something women connected with deeply.
And that’s how Palmy Sarees was born.
Not just as a brand, but as my comeback.
My identity.
My second innings.
